This is Nick and we, his family and friends, are aiming to raise $80,000 to buy Nick a much needed new van. Nick's van is more than transport to him, it's his ticket to living a full, rich life and gives him freedom beyond his wheelchair. Freedom to go to concerts, surfing, the movies, medical appointments, visiting family and friends and enabling him to have the best life possible. His current 2008 Volkswagen van has over 280,000 kms on it and is honestly falling apart. Nick has very little money of his own after his basic needs are met and his retired parents are currently paying for all repairs and maintenance.
