Following my challenge a few years ago when I carried a 25kg Chieftain Tank Track Link 30-miles over the Dorset Coast Path, I have set myself a new and unique challenge.
Sticking with a familiar theme of carrying something heavy over long distances, I am attempting a new and unique 30-mile challenge.
Using a the idea of the very popular "Couch-to-5K" exercise challenge (a simple, free running plan for absolute beginners who want to get moving but don’t know where to start); my challenge flips this concept on it's head.
I'm taking the couch with me!
....for 50km! (30 miles).
To continue running free health & wellbeing activities for veterans, the armed forces community, and health services staff (who work alongside our armed forces on operations and in peacetime), The David Ellis Charity needs to continuously raise funds to hire venues, facilities and equipment.
