In memory of Nick Jay
On 08/25/2016 Nicolas Jay Janesich was involved in a work related accident in North Dakota. Nick's work had him operating a tractor on a daily basis; little is known at this time of what the exact cause of the accident was but what is known is the extent of his injuries, shortly after emergancy arrival, caused him to slip into a coma.
Nick's parents Toni and Jason Janesich (Momma and Poppa Jay) were notified of the accident and shortly after began their drive to Minot, ND where Nick was airlifted for emergancy medical treatment. When Momma and Poppa Jay arrived they were informed the degree of his injuries. With many tears they had decided to try and see if his heart would be strong enough for a transplant. Nick's parents said he's always had a big heart and wanted that same heart to have the possibility to save someone else's life. Due to the severity of the incident his heart was unable to be used as a transplant. Nick passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family on 08/27/2016 at 9:08PM.
Nick Was more than just a friend, he was a Damn Good friend, brother to all, a shoulder to lean on, a cousin, a nephew and most importantly an amazing son to some extrordinarily loving parents.
The proceeds from this page will be there for Nick's parents to help with costs for medical and funeral expenses. Though nothing can fully mend his parent's hearts we are hoping through the sharing of this page to your family and friends we can show them support with knowing that even though Nick is gone from us physically he will forever and always be in our hearts. This GoFundMe campaign was created by Kate Makinen, of Grand Rapids, MN, a friend of Nick and his family. As previously stated, funds from this campaign will go toward funeral and medical expenses. Funds will be withdrawn from GoFundMe by Joey Burns, a very close friend of the Janesich family, and will be distributed to an account that he has opened for the Janesich family at Wells Fargo of Hibbing, MN.
