Nic Weber (Tracy Baker Buchanan)

Nicholas is a 13 year old, happy go-lucky kiddo!  Saturday afternoon March 17th, 2018, Nic was injured in a fire accident.  He was flown by Air Care to Wake Forest Baptist hospital and the PICU at Brenners Children's Center.  He has second and third degree burns over 50% of his body.  His recovery process will be extensive with surgeries and therapy for the next several years.  Nic's recovery be challenging due to his diagnosis of Autism.  We are confident that he will remain the same happy, chocolate milk lovin', bubble blowin', train watchin' kid as ever!  He has never met a stranger he didn't know or wouldn't hug! We thank you for your love and support!!

After 10.5 LONG months at Brenner's Children's Hospital, multiple surgeries, doctors, nurses, and rooms later... Nic has finally made it back home!  I can't tell you how happy we all are to have him home!  In the words of Nic, "We ARE home!".
