Hi everyone,

My name is Nickel, and I’m from Vineyard Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica, the place I proudly call home. A few days ago, Hurricane Melissa tore through our community and left behind heartbreaking destruction.

Homes have been destroyed, my family and other families have been displaced, and many of are struggling without food, clean water, or a safe place to sleep. It’s painful to see neighbors and friends, people who’ve always been there for each other now standing in the rubble of what used to be their homes.

I’m starting this fundraiser because I can’t stand by and do nothing. I want to help rebuild our community, one family at a time. The funds will go toward:

Rebuilding homes, Providing food and clean water, Supplying basic necessities and emergency aid. Every little bit truly helps even the smallest donation can bring hope to a family who’s lost everything.
