Nick's Birthday Wish for Skylar & Beyond

As many of you know, Nick Meserve unexpectedly died in his home on February 8, 2019 . He was a great cop, a great friend, a great son, a great brother, a great-uncle, great cousin, and most of all, he was an amazing father. Skylar's birthday is coming up in the beginning of April, and she had often talked about how her daddy was going to take her to New York City. When she found out that he had died, it was one of the very first things that she brought up. Her mom and I immediately decided that we would take her to New York City for her birthday. I refuse to let Skylar's dad passing be a financial burden to my sister, but I also refuse to not give Skylar the time of her life in New York City, because that's exactly what she would have had with her father. When I asked Skylar what she wants to do in New York, she said, "my Daddy really wanted to go to Central Park." ALL of the money donated will go to giving Skylar the best getaway possible in NYC. Any money left over will be put into an account solely for Skylar and be used for her future needs.
