Nick Bottini's Legacy: Support His Family

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Nick Bottini. Nick was not only one of the most caring and fiercely passionate people, he brightened every interaction with his joyous smile and infectious laugh. To have known the blessing of Nick’s presence in our lives was to know true friendship, acceptance, encouragement, and kindness.

Nick will be deeply missed throughout the reptile community, who will remember him for his accomplishments and advancements in short-tailed python genealogy. He will also be lovingly remembered by friends and family as the heartbeat of any conversation—never failing to make others smile and laugh, and always offering unwavering support when it was needed most. He constantly encouraged those around him to be the best version of themselves, to seek adventure, or to crack a questionably appropriate joke.

Most importantly, Nick will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Kendra, and daughter, Annabelle. In typical Nick fashion, he and Annabelle could often be found wandering the farm, laughing and giggling together while searching for frogs and snakes. Their unbreakable bond stands as a testament to Nick’s love and devotion to being the best father he could be.

Nick and Kendra were truly soulmates. To know them as husband and wife was to understand the very definition of a loving partnership. Their shared love for all things amphibious, aquatic, and equine formed the foundation of the beautiful life they built together. Nick not only provided for the farm, the animals, and Annabelle, but he was also Kendra’s best friend and other half.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, shared stories, memories, and photos, and offered your kind words, support, and love. As Kendra and Annabelle navigate this next chapter of their lives, we ask for your continued support—especially by remembering Nick and offering emotional care to Kendra, Annabelle, family, and friends affected by this profound loss.
