Nick Baez's Eagle Service Project

My name is Nick Baez and I am a Life Scout from BSA Troop 116 in Valley Stream, NY.

As an avid baseball fan and former member of the Valley Stream Little League, the goal of my Eagle Service Project is to provide a safer environment for the members of the Valley Stream Little League, the Valley Stream Central High School baseball & softball players as well as their families and all spectators that visit the Valley Stream Fireman’s Memorial Field Complex.

For my project, I will be performing some much-needed repair work and upgrades to the (4) baseball fields at the Fireman’s Memorial Field Complex. The work will include the repair of the backstop fencing and will also include the installation of new protective privacy fencing on the backtstop of each of the fields.

A portion of the project will also include the installation of a new cage with protective netting for the bullpen area near field #1 and the replacement of the protective netting for the existing batting cage.

Your donation will not only assist me in achieving my goal of becoming an Eagle Scout but, will also assist in bringing a safer environment for the Valley Stream Community.
