Nichole Loudermilk has been a staple with her camera in hand for Mount Carmel youth sports for many years. She has provided pictures and memories to parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and the whole community. She attends over 150 events every school year, including dances, pep rallies, and many other school functions. She attends and takes pictures for the plays and musicals at MCHS. She attends most of sporting events, even away games. Her pictures have been seen and published in the local newspaper and on their Facebook page. Also on WSJD Facebook page and even her own Facebook page to share. She has taken senior pictures for students for free, who might not other wise get senior pictures. She has also taken pictures for Wabash Valley College. She has done all of this without ever wanting praise or acknowledgment. Those close to her, have seen her spend hours editing and touching up the photos. She is a perfectionist.

Her camera is 13 years old and it has taken over 4.2 million pictures. Yes, you read that right!! Over 3 million of those have been for school functions. Recently her camera and lens both broke. She needs to replace them. She is literally keeping the camera closed with tape. She has had to borrow a lens from a friend to continue her calling. Which this is a calling to her!!!

In doing research, some good cameras range from $10,000 on up. She would NEVER ask for help, but this is a need and it’s not her asking now, it is a group of friends trying to help.

It is a great opportunity for parents and grandparents to show their thanks and appreciation for all that she has done. It is also a great opportunity for our wonderful ACES Nation to show their appreciation for all the hard work she has put in over the years!! Let’s all come together and surprise her and help her get what she needs to continue to supply our families and our community with many pictures and memories to come.
