Hi, my name is Amy Plessinger and I am starting this fundraiser to help my family.

On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, my Nephew Nicholas (Nicky) Tiefer (20) was senselessly and tragically shot while driving down a neighborhood street in San Marcos, CA with a friend of his. My nephew was found in the passenger seat with a gunshot wound to his neck and was airlifted to the hospital to receive care. Nicky is currently on life support and I was notified on Thursday that after the doctors ran all their tests, my nephew will not make it through this. There is no brain activity. Nick is being kept on life support until our family is able to say their final goodbyes to our sweet boy.

Nick was a son, little brother, big brother, an all-star high school football player, a friend to everyone, and loved by his community.

My brother and sister-in-law will need to take some time to figure out life without their son.

All funds will be used to cover medical costs, and memorial expenses and allow my family to be together through this most tragic time.
