Nicholas Missionary Trip

Hello, I am Nicholas Olson. I would like to tell you a little about myself and ask for your support so that I am able to attend a mission trip to help those who are desperately in need in a less fortunate part of the world.

I am currently a junior at Cesar Rodney high school. I am a good student who shows up every day with a positive attitude and I always try my best even if I find school challenging at times. I show up early every school day to participate in the ROTC program. While drill is my favorite part of the program, I love honoring the veterans that are so deserving. I can’t help but get emotional while placing wreaths on the veteran’s graves.

I love participating in Cross Fit. I also volunteer to coach kids younger than myself and I hope to become a coach in the future.

I attend the United Church twice a week where I volunteer to assist with set up and clean up. I have made tons of friends at United Church and I'm proud of what we do for the community.

Today, I am asking for your support to attend a missionary trip to Jamaica. I will be traveling to very poor and desolate areas of the country. Sadly, most of the countryside is abject poverty. I will spend two weeks helping and trying to better the lives of those who need my help the most.

The cost of this trip is $2,500. I really want to raise this money on my own. I'm sure that my parents will contribute to the cause but, this is something I want to do on my own. Any donation, large or small, will be greatly appreciated beyond what words can express.

I am proud to participate in this mission. My goal is to improve as many lives as I can. Thank you for your consideration.
