Nicholas Dino's Boy Scout Eagle Project

Hi, my name is Nicholas Dino and I'm fundraising to support my Boy Scout Eagle project.

My project will be building and installing six "Bat Boxes" at the Adult Skills Center here in Santa Clarita. Bat boxes are habitats where small brown bats can live and breed and because of all the insects that are at this location, this would be an ideal and environmentally safe way to control the insects. This facility is a working farm with horses, goats, pigs, cows and sheep. These animals are used as animal therapy for the clients enrolled in the program. Because of the large number of animals, there is also a significant insect population and brown bats are a natural pest control.

The Adult Skills Center provides innovative and proactive disability services that empower individuals with diverse intellectual, developmental and mental health needs to achieve their highest level of independence and realize their greatest potential.

My goal is to raise $2000 to cover the cost of materials and tool rental for my project. Any donations will be greatly appreciated!
