Hi, My name is Niki Nia's mum. As many of you know Nia was diagnosed with a heart condition call Mitral Valve Regurgitation and ALCAPA (Wich is very rare). Nia is due to go in for surgery on the 3rd of September. Obviously this has come as a huge shock and such a worrying time for us all. We as a family are looking for help and support so we can stay with Nia during her hospital stay at Alder Hey. This will help us pay for accommodation for the time she will be in hospital, travel to and from her frequent appointments and to bring her siblings to visits and also our food whilst we are with Nia this will obviously be quite costly given the time she will be in hospital and the amount of times she will need surgeries. This is a huge journey we are about to face as a family and any donation would be greatly appreciated by us all to make this as smooth and stress free as possible.
