The NHWOA teamed up with Michael Perruccio's family after his passing and the mission was simple: Create opportunities for NH wrestlers including the scholarship fund which provides four scholarships per season. There is one for each division and a Silent Service award for team managers. The latter was able to be added with the generosity of the Perruccio family.

The scholarship fund is also partially funded (for now) through grassroots donations directly from the NH wrestling community as well as those indirectly connected. The NHWOA has never heard a story of a kid who tried wrestling and said it was a waste of time. Love it or hate it, one year or a decade plus doing it, the sport makes better human beings.
