Family of 9 in need of help

Donation protected

This family I've know for almost six year. Amazing, honest, and hard working. Here is a touching story of what is going on typed up from the father and put on Facebook for family and friends to see........Putting this out there for my folks. Those in the know, and those that don't. I realize some might not like me putting this out there, and I'm okay with that. I am a Father to 7. 2 biologically mine, 5 that are not. Notice I don't say stepfather though. I am their Father. My oldest is now 18. She was only 9 when she came into my life. No one forced me to take this on. I naturally felt it was my calling to raise them. Maybe not gonna win Dad of the year awards anytime soon, but still their Dad. It's been a rewarding journey, although a hard one. As you can imagine, a family this big is not cheap. We do without, but have never felt we didn't have what we need. Needless to say fancy clothes, eating out, and taking vacations are rare or non existent. Hand me downs, home cooking, and staycations are the norm. And we are grateful for what we have. Trying to be good with our money, as we do okay. But definitely not where we should be at for a family this size. Up until this week, I was lost. In December we were given notice that the owner of the property we are renting has decided to sell. No luck since then finding a place to rent. Rejection after rejection. Not being denied because we aren't qualified, just not getting picked from the multiple applicants all going for the same rentals out here in the Valley. We work (me 21yrs, her 10yrs), have decent credit, and budget what we possibly can. Not making money hand over fist, but enough to live decent. Over $450 in applications, still nothing. This week I decided to go for broke. I drained out what I could from my 401K, pulled together our savings, and said screw it. Let's see if we can buy a place. A place to call home. Not constantly moving. Shuffling our kids to different schools, different locations, different places. Another roadblock, still coming up short. Not by much, but enough too keep us from finally owning. This story might resonate with you, maybe it won't. But I'm here and I'm asking for y'all help. Anything would help, whether it be loan, donation, hugs, prayers, a new job making 60k year.
