If ya know then ya know…Dementia Sucks!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am one of Gary Reho’s daughters.
As some of you may know my dad was diagnosed with early onset dementia. He was a dedicated father, husband, coach, mentor-you name it. If Gary was a part of your life he was a positive influence and would give anything to help you.
This disease has taken over him completely. Mid May my dad fell and was taken to the hospital where they found he was full of infection. After he was cleared he wasn’t able to go home. He was not the same after his long stay in the hospital and not moving for a long period. The dementia once again got the best of him. He was sent to a long term care facility. Last Friday they called my mom and told her he was not making progress, would be dropped by insurance, and starting Tuesday, July 5th, she would be responsible for private pay. This is something we just never imagined would happen so quickly.
Although we don’t know exactly what the next step is for Gary, he must stay in this facility for the time being and therefore the financial burden is immediate. No matter how big or small, any amount donated is greatly appreciated by our family.
