Help Sharon with house fire and hit & run accident
Donation protected
My name is Karen and I work with a very sweet lady, Sharon. On Thursday, September 2, Sharon's house caught fire and the majority of the inside was destroyed. The house is unlivable but, fortunately, no one was injured. While Sharon is working with her insurance company to process a claim and begin the repairs and rebuilding, there are many unresolved and outstanding questions. Sharon does have temporary shelter with family, in a neighboring city. Unfortunately, on October 12, while traveling from her daughters house to work in Cartersville, Sharon was involved in a very serious car accident. A logging truck ran a stop sign, hit Sharon's vehicle and dragged it 200 feet. Then the driver got out of the truck, disconnected the trailer, removed the tag and took off! Sharon was Life Flighted to Floyd Hospital in Rome where she has undergone surgery to repair multiple broken/crushed bones. She also has a bruised liver and spleen, a concussion, and staples and stitches in her head. She is still in ICU and has a long road to recovery. She now has to come to terms with many lost treasures and important documents from the fire as well as the recovery from the car accident. Please keep her in your thoughts and if you feel moved to contribute to a fund set up for her, I thank you for helping to ease her situation.
