It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out for support for my Section Chief, Sergeant Edward Garza II and his family during an unimaginable time of grief. Their beloved middle child, Koda Garza [A little over one year old] passed away on August 17, 2025 unexpectedly. This sudden loss has left the Garza family devastated. Beyond the emotional pain, their time & energy is still focused around their other two children (Santana (Two years old) & Jaylean (Two months old).

SGT Garza is a dedicated Soldier who always has the interests of others in mind above his own. He constantly displays acts of selflessness and now, he and his family need our support. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated and will help alleviate some of the financial stress during this incredibly difficult time for him and his family.

Funds will be used to cover upcoming expenses, visits from family as he is currently stationed in Germany (Over 5000 miles away from home), and to help the family maintain stability while they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
