My name is Mohamed, a Palestinian father from Gaza, I used to live a peaceful life filled with hope until the war broke out. After seven years of waiting, God blessed me with twins, Mazen and Nuha, who are now three years old. The joy my children brought into my life was indescribable, but soon it was overshadowed by the sorrows of war, which stripped us of our home and our sense of safety, depriving my family of even the most basic needs.

Amid heavy shelling and explosions, I lost my brother, Shehda, who lived a difficult life alongside me and my extended family. I also lost two of my aunts, and a lot of my neighbors, friends, and colleagues. The war left me and my family burdened with physical injuries and visual impairments, with our eyes now looking out for a glimmer of hope for a better future for my children, who are now suffering from severe shortages of food, medicine, water, and all basic humanitarian needs.
