In September of 2019 the mother of my child Odin took him and left New York. She left with no warning and I was not even able to say goodbye to my son. She took none of his personal belongings or paperwork. Since that day I have been living in my own personal hell. Worrying every day where my child is, who he is with, if he is safe, if he has the things that he needs. I have not seen my sons face or a picture of him since they left. I've watched the broken hearts of my whole family as we try to deal with this. Hardest of all is explaining this to the other children involved including my daughter who is 7, my partners daughter who is 4, and my niece who is about to turn 4. 

 

I have now been awarded full custody of my son by the state of New York but we still have so much work to do to make sure that he gets home safe and that we are fully prepared to welcome him home. Through the legal process it has cost thousands and thousands of dollars in lawyer fees and fees for other services used to try to track down Odin. On top of this we will now need to put together a whole life for this little boy upon his return. This includes a bed, dresser, books, toys, clothes, shoes , basically a whole life.

 

I am gratefully and humbly asking for donations to help offset some of the cost of these expenses. Those of you who know Beth and I know that this is not easy to reach out for help. Once Odin arrives and we know sizes for things we will happily accept physical donations as well.
