If you are looking for ways to support our local restaurants as well as our heroic doctors/nurses/hospital staff that are saving lives daily, look no further! Boy Scout Troop 70, of Newtown Connecticut, Is collecting money and/or gift certificates from your favorite local restaurants. All funds collected will be used to purchase additional gift cards from Newtown’s many small, independent, restaurants, And in turn, we will be donating All gift cards collected to the tireless ER/ICU staff of Danbury Hospital. (If we are able to raise enough money we will donate to other locations as well). This is a multi pronged solution to helping vulnerable restaurants in our community as well as those who are giving so much to help any and all who are directly affected by Covid19.

 If you would like to help us, you can do so by donating directly through this go fund me or you can drop off cash/check/gift card donations from your own personal favorite local restaurants  to Ryan Quinn (please PM for address, there will be a box set up there for collection) or, you can paypal/venmo/zelle Ryan if you are more comfortable with that(again, PM for that info). This will be an ongoing campaign that will hopefully run as long as these folks are affected by this crisis. Thank You for any and all donations. whether large or small, they are all appreciated!
