Newport's 2025 Christmas Cwtch appeal is a collaborative community effort, to raise much needed funds to support and help the most vulnerable children, young people, and families in Newport over the Christmas and holiday period.

We aim to bring a smile, some warmth, and a big Christmas Cwtch to those who need it the most this festive time.

Working together with local businesses, third sector organisations, Council workers and volunteers; we’ll once again be helping 300 children, young people and families as part of this annual fundraiser.

As one of Newport’s largest charities we have a fantastic reach across the city, delivering a wide variety of preventative, youth work, health improvement, sport and physical activity, and educational projects in partnership with Newport City Council. We’re perfectly placed to help out with the coordination of the Christmas Cwtch appeal, ensuring every penny that's donated, gets spent on those that really need your help.

Every donation, big or small, will help provide gifts including winter essentials, food parcels, toiletries, and supermarket vouchers for children and families supported by Newport City Council. Donations will also support a Christmas Party at the Celtic Manor, who has generously donated a huge space for a DJ, games, food, and a chair by the fire for a visit from the big man himself, "Father Christmas."
