New Paltz Skate Park

My friends and I, a group of teens in New Paltz, NY skate avidly in our town. Sadly, there are very few locations for us to fulfill our wish to skate and we often find ourselves having to be in harms way, on public roads or the college campus in order to go about skating. We have dreamed of having a skate park in town for years, but now are finally taking action. We have done abundant research on the costs and logistics of building said park, made contact with the town and are currently putting together a proposal to make the dream a reality. In order to do this however, we need money, and lots of it. $10,000 is just a start, but we ask you, and anyone you know, to please donate any amount of money you have to offer in order to allow us to create a safe, fun filled environment in which we can enjoy skating to its truest extent.
