Newborn twins lost their mom to COVID-19

Our beloved friend Sonia lost her battle with COVID-19 leaving her preemie baby twins, her husband Giannis, family and friends behind. Sonia was pregnant when she became ill and her twins had to be born via emergency c-section almost two and a half month early. Thankfully they are being cared for in the hospital and we hope they can go home with their father as soon as they are strong enough.
Anyone who knew her knows that her biggest wish was to be a mother, and she would have been an incredible one. Her twin babies are are still in the hospital waiting to go home. Unfortunately Sonia never got to hold them, she never got to stare at them for hours, as all new mothers do, she never got to see their first smile, or hear their first laugh, she will never experience all those beautiful moments that she was dreaming of.
Sonia’s loss leaves a heartache no one can heal. We want to help Sonia’s husband and family take care of their twin babies. We would like for him to be able to grieve and devote his time to their newborn babies without having to worry about money on top of everything else that will be thrown his way. The money will be for everything the twins might need from a nurse to help take care of them to food, diapers, hospital bills, clothing, car seats, strollers, ... whatever they need to make their lives a little easier after the tragic loss of their mom.
