Hi everyone,

This is my daughter Amanda, and she is a single mom to two amazing boys — Mason and Jaxson. She’s never been one to ask for help but today she is in a place where she truly needs the support of her community.

Her oldest son, Jaxson, is a beautiful, resilient child with special needs. He lives with a severe movement disorder that prevents him from walking or talking, and he is fed through a G-tube. Every day is filled with challenges, but also love, determination, and small victories that mean the world to us.

Jaxson requires full-time care, and transporting him safely has become one of our biggest obstacles. Right now, getting to doctor’s appointments, therapy sessions, or even just enjoying a trip outside the home is incredibly unsafe due to the condition of Amanda’s current car. Her current vehicle is no longer safe or sustainable for Jaxson's needs.

That’s why I’m reaching out — as Amanda’s mom and Nana to Jax- I need your help to get Amanda and her boys into a safe vehicle. We are hoping to raise funds to purchase a rear-entry handicap-accessible van that will give Jaxson the mobility and comfort he deserves. This van would allow him to travel safely, reduce the physical strain of lifting and transferring him, and most importantly, ensure Amanda can get her boys to school and herself to work safely and securely.

As a single mom, she’s been resourceful and determined and has never asked for help, she has always been able to provide everything her boys need but this is something she can’t do alone. She needs our help, she needs your help. Every donation — no matter the amount — brings us one step closer to providing a safe and reliable vehicle for Jaxson, Amanda, and Mason.
