For the past 10 years, our community sound system has brought music, joy, and a voice to many. Whether it’s our annual Lordship Rec. Summer Party, London Fields Block Party or our link ups with Tottenham Family Fight Back, our goal has always been to bring people together through sound.

But none of this would have been possible without Jorge.

Jorge is our beloved van. He has carried heavy speakers up steep hills, survived arduous journeys into the mountains of Spain, festivals, and acted as a makeshift DJ booth more times than we can count on the streets of London and beyond. Jorge isn't just a van; he’s part of the Felt family.

However, Jorge is tired.

After countless miles, Jorge is now in a state of disrepair. Due to a previously undiagnosed blown head gasket, he needs his engine replaced to be able to continue. The repairs cost more than his value as a broken van, but significantly less than it would cost to buy an equivalent and trustworthy van. If we repair him he can keep the sound moving for years to come.

We are looking to raise £6k to buy a new, reconditioned engine, pay for the work of a mechanic to replace his current engine, and to carry out other essential maintenance work to ensure his reliability and safety for years to come, so that we can keep bringing the sound where it is most needed!
