Knock Knock Angels Needs A Truck

Knock Knock Angels is an organization that has affected the lives of thousands of people with their love thy neighbor approach.  We travel through communities picking up donations of gently used furniture and household items that we use to completely transform empty apartments into homes.  The individuals we serve are victims of domestic violence, disabled veterans, victims of elderly abuse and families with children coming from foster care;  we help them get a fresh start.  After experiencing hardship, most of these individuals only end up with a bag of clothes;  the children don't have beds to sleep in and families have no dinner tables to sit at.  This affects self esteem and hinders growth.  The goal is to get the family back to life;  children returning to school and parents back in the workforce.  We give them a sense of normality with the donations and support from the community.   After an encounter with us, they have enough.  We've partnered with Ashley Furniture and a host of other organizations to get this work done. 

However, we have found ourselves in desperate need of a truck. Our moving van, with 300k miles, is on its last leg and we have no monetary means to get it fixed. In order for us to continue our mission, we are in need of a reliable moving truck ASAP. 

We ask that you kindly consider helping us to acquire a dependable moving truck so that we have the
continued opportunity to pay it forward; the continued opportunity to see how donated furniture and donated household items can bring smiles on children's faces and families to tears of joy. Please help us to help those who are trying desperately to get back on their feet and to be a part of our contributing community.
