The Shelter is the heart of our community at the LaHave River Campground. It’s where kids gather for crafts, adults play card games, and we come together for meals, dances, tournaments, live music, and so much more.

As our campground family has grown over the years, we have outgrown our mismatched collection of older tables and chairs. To truly support the events and activities that happen here now, an investment is needed in a full set of tables and chairs — enough to seat everyone comfortably - and dollies to pack everything up afterwards.

As a small business, we would love to be in a position to cover this cost ourselves, but with other pressing priorities across the park, we are just not there yet.

Our amazing campers have already kickstarted this effort, raising an incredible $1,917 through a recent food fundraiser! Now we’re turning to our wider community to help us bridge the gap of $4,183 and help us to reach our total goal of $6,100.
