New start in Canada for a Ukrainian single mom

For the past few months we’ve had the pleasure of hosting the most amazing Ukrainian family (a single mom with her two young boys, under 6). They came to Canada a few days before Christmas and it was the best gift we could have received. Strangers at first, but family now.

My friend has found a place for her and her boys to live within our community that they’ll be moving into this week. As a single mom in a new country, the road ahead will not be easy, so in lieu of a house warming party, we wanted to SURPRISE her with some essentials to help them furnish their home and settle in.

For those of you who are able to lend a hand to soften the overwhelm involved with a move, that would be really appreciated. Your support would help significantly and would mean the world to them and would be helpful in assisting them with getting started with building their new home here in Canada.
