Keeping Our Doors Open: A New Roof for Sutton Christian Fellowship
Help us protect our mission and continue serving those in need.
For years, Sutton Christian Fellowship has been a sanctuary for the homeless and vulnerable members of our community. We believe that no one should have to face hunger or isolation alone. However, we have reached a critical crossroads: the roof above us is failing, and we urgently need your help to save our kitchen and our outreach.
Why This is Urgent
The church roof is currently in a state of horrendous disrepair. What started as minor leaks has escalated into a structural crisis that is now impacting our internal facilities.
The Kitchen at Risk: Our kitchen and dining areas—the heart of our charity—are being compromised by water damage.
Safety & Hygiene: We cannot, in good conscience, operate a kitchen or serve hot meals in an environment where the ceiling and infrastructure are deteriorating.
A Threat to Our Services: Without an immediate replacement, we will be forced to stop our meal programs, leaving many who rely on us without a warm plate or a safe place to go.
Our Plan
We are a totally self-funded charity, which means we rely entirely on the generosity of people like you to keep our lights on.
We have already partnered with a wonderful local roofing company that recognizes the value of our work. Because they want to see our community thrive, they have offered to replace the entire roof at a significantly discounted price. Even with this generous discount, the cost is beyond our current reach.
How You Can Help
Every penny raised will go directly toward the materials and labor needed to secure the building. By helping us fix the roof, you aren't just buying shingles and beams—you are:
Ensuring hot meals continue for the homeless.
Protecting a community hub for the vulnerable.
Investing in the future of Sutton's local support network.
We are calling on our neighbors, local businesses, and the surrounding areas to stand with us. No donation is too small, and every share of this page brings us one step closer to a dry, safe, and functional building.
Thank you for helping us keep our doors open and our kitchen running.
Would you like me to help you draft some social media posts to go along with this campaign to help spread the word?
