We are a NON PROFIT organization! Our Community lost more than a therapy facility it lost a lifeline.!When First Steps unfortunately had to close its’ doors in Winnipeg, , children and adults living with spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, CP, MS , stroke and brain injury were left without the therapy they relied on to regain strength, independence and hope. For many families this wasn’t just a rehabilitation center. It was a place where milestones happened. We refuse to let that hope disappear. We are working toward opening a brand new activity-based therapy facility that will serve both children and adults with neurological conditions. This facility will provide specialized therapy designed to improve mobility, strength, motor planning, independence and quality of life in an environment built on encouragement, community and possibilities.

We need your help to purchase specialized rehabilitation equipment, prepare a new facility, and create a welcoming space where they can continue the recovery they so deserve. Every donation, no matter the size brings us, one step closer to opening our
