New Life for Chevy Volt: Support Our Cause

Hi! My name is Monroe King and I am raising funds to produce a brand new battery for the Chevy Volt! We love our Chevy Volt and we want to keep driving them! The big problem is that no new batteries are being made and the only alternative available are batteries made from used batteries that are already old. We want to build a brand new battery that will allow our Volts to keep going for years! I started a group called "The Open Source Chevy Volt Project" years ago when I realized that these batteries would be going bad soon and we would need an alternative battery that would replace the unavailable original battery from GM at a cost that makes it affordable to replace the battery for anyone that would want to keep these cars going!

The 1st Gen Chevy Volt is so well built they can go on for many more years! Sparkie, an original 2012 Volt, made it to 477,000 miles and with a new battery we believe many Volts could make it to 1,000,000 miles!

So please help us raise all the money we need to produce this new battery and to provide recycling for the old used batteries that they will replace!
