Hello friends — I’m Shannon, a full-time working single mom of three amazing kids, one with special needs. Over the past year, life has changed completely. I’ve stepped into the role of being our family’s main provider, building a new life for my children from the ground up. It’s been challenging, humbling, and at times overwhelming — but also full of small victories and moments of grace. Even while working full-time, the math simply doesn’t work. Between rent, utilities, childcare, and all the basic costs of caring for three children, my monthly expenses reach over $10,000— and my income is about $4,000. Every month, I stretch, borrow, and keep going because my kids deserve stability and peace.

Through all of this, painting has been my anchor — a space where I can breathe, process, and create something beautiful out of the chaos. My art reflects that journey: the layers, the light breaking through, the quiet persistence. I’ve decided to open this GoFundMe as a way to bridge the gap between survival and stability — and to share the art that has helped me heal.
