New Friends reunited website fundraiser

Hi,

 

My name's Stephen for the past 6-7 months I have been running a group on Facebook to help people find lost family and friends. During this time we have had amazing success to which we have reunited families, friends, colleagues who maybe haven't seen each other for over 10-20 years.

The group has grew to an amazing 56+ thousand members !!

During the success I soon realised Facebook could not offer everything members would like such as categories such as schools, clubs, military etc.

Due to this I decided we needed a dedicated website to where members could log in and view everything in a more detailed manner.

I spoke with a few web designers and got some crazy quotes going to as much as 10k. So after some research I decided to go with a guy who could do the build in which I would offer him a % of the site in return for him building it.. Sadly the guy now claims the work involved he just wouldn't be able to do as in everything I need to make it successful.

I therefore am asking for anyone to be able to donate on the build of my new site, in which I have a company who I've spoken with who can carry out the work I require. Anyone can view my Facebook page to see the success stories so far where we have changed many people's lives.....this is what I'm hoping to continue to do only in a website that's more dedicated to the needs of reuniting people

I would be very grateful to any donation as I've been told to do it correctly it would cost atleast £2500 ( and this is the company doing a deal for me Inc Gofundme fees  ).

Upon completion you will then get access to the new site where you will be able to post, reply to listings...and also join all the added extras I'm planning such as earning commission on anyone you introduce to the website. Not to mention I've some other great ideas such as a chatroom for members ( which came down very well when I put a poll up in my group ).

Naturally due to the unforseen costs, I've been left with no choice but to set this Gofundme Page up ..as this will show me that enough people want to join this site and be part of uniting others. I just couldn't put the costs out myself on the basis it would be to much of a gamble if not enough people joined.

I am also planning a draw where once membership grows you would be in with a chance each month of winning various prizes for being a valued members.

So hopefully you feel this is something you would like to help in building a site dedicated to helping others.

I would be grateful for any amount which you can donate as the sooner I reach the target the sooner I can then continue on what I've already started.
