This season has taken an unexpected turn for a group of local young footballers. Their U13 team sadly had to fold due to a lack of players, leaving them without a club, coaches, or a chance to play the game they love.

We didn’t want these kids to miss out. Football is more than just a sport — it’s about friendships, confidence, fitness, and being part of a team. So at very short notice, we’ve stepped in to take them on and form a brand-new team, giving them the opportunity to keep playing this season.

Because this has happened so suddenly, we’re starting from scratch. We urgently need to raise £500 to buy essential equipment such as footballs, cones, bibs, and other training gear to give the players the best chance to learn, enjoy, and develop.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference to these children and help ensure they don’t lose out on playing the sport they love.
