Hi, my name is John Finnegan and I am one of the directors of Margate Independent Foodbank CIC and MiCommunity Shops Thanet.

We need to look ahead to the future. We desperately need a new van – a van to us is our lifeline and we can't work without one. Up to now we have bought second-hand ones but they don't last. So we have decided to go for an electric van on leasehold.

However, we need to raise the £3,000.00 deposit, hence the crowdfund. We are a non-profit organisation and we run three Community Shops in Thanet which are a lifesaver for the community, especially now.
