- Hello, my name is Ciara & next to me would be my 9-year-old son Tristan. We are trying to raise enough money to replace a few home items after a long three and a half years of being homeless, jumping from couch to couch, and we've even gone to the point of being in the woods in a tent for three and a half long months. The hardest thing I've come across is being a single mother. Yet we finally have made it to a place we can call our own after finally getting some help through the Auburn Resource Center! It is quite a miracle if you ask me. I am so grateful and appreciative to have been given the opportunity to live again instead of survive!
- We are trying to raise money for furniture to start our new life, in our own four walls! Due to the reason of us becoming homeless in the first place, we had our apartment catch fire and lost everything we owned. Not only this, but we were then evicted and left to figure things out. It took us this long to get here, but we are here and just needing a few things to help start our new beginning.
- We also have recently lost someone dear to our hearts and are very much still grieving. My ex-fiancé, the person whom my son looked to as his dad, passed away due to congestive heart failure. It's been a very hard last few years, but I'm doing what I can for us to just be able to live again, and if anyone could help us get a little bit further, we would be so very grateful!
