My sister, Deanna, is a single mother of 4 incredible children. She had worked in the restaurant industry for years, doing her best to give the kids a lifetime of memories and love. Making sure all their needs were met.

The pandemic, as we know for a lot of us, really crushed her. She got behind, prices rose, hours were cut, overtime which was a staple, was no more, and she couldn't ever quite catch back up.

Then her rent went up by hundreds last month.

She couldn't afford the increase.

Even with a new job and every source of available support exhausted or unattainable due to the need in the larger communities.

We quickly moved the two oldest to their father's house, and the two youngest and my sister were graciously held in an RV camp where my father towed his small camping trailer from eastern Washington to western Washington; he paid for a month of living there, then couple weeks in, the heater broke. It's all just been too much, as you can imagine.

My oldest cousin was in town to care for her father and offered Deanna the best offer she's had to date.

She could come live with her, with the two youngest in Ohio. She has three extra bedrooms, a job starting at $30/hr for her to get on her feet and no rent for a period of time to save up and catch back up on everything.

But we need to get her there. And that's where YOU come in!

She needs her car to drive cross country and enough supplies to get them started. The rooms are furnished, so Deanna can keep her belongings in storage here for now until a later date.

We are asking for an excellent start to cover gas, hotels, food and unexpected expenses along the way and to get her covered with her fees for a month to get her settled.
