Denton Lion's Club, the Denton Volunteer EMS and the extended community of Denton are fundraising to replace their 23 year old ambulance. The ambulance will soon be outdated and non compliant with state and federal regulations.

"Rural American EMS can be very scary heartbreaking and rewarding. Living in a small community where you know everyone (and chances are that you're related to some) can make a call something you will never forget, whether it is a motor vehicle accident, gunshot or cardiac arrest. Being a volunteer EMT, you are on call 24/7. Whether we are doing CPR, an extrication, lift assistance or holding someone's hand, we do whatever is needed whenever it is needed. "
