My Brother Was Detained By ICE: Please Bring Him Back Home
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Neida. I am honestly unsure how to express my truest feelings.
My brother was detained by ICE at the Ambiance Apparel office in Downtown LA on Friday, June 6, 2025.
I received a text from him at 9:22 AM where he explained Immigration was at Ambiance. He was trembling in fear and felt alone while surrounded by his coworkers who also felt the same fear he did.
He continuously stated he was going to get taken, and I kept reassuring him that he wouldn't be.
But then it did happen; and was gut-wrenching because I felt I could keep him safe from a distance. I believed that everything would be okay.
I left work immediately and headed to Ambiance to find him. I saw him get taken outside, searched, and cuffed while I screamed and yelled to stay silent and that he has rights.
He is not a criminal, he is not a thug, he is not what is being painted on immigrants. He is hardworking, he pays his taxes like every other painted American.
He is my older brother; he's been by my side since I was born, always showering me with love and adoration.
My mother cries when she thinks she is alone. My family is scared. I miss him so much, and I try to hide my emotions as much as I can. Please bring my brother back to not only me but my parents.
He is just a Mexican boy who came here as a CHILD, my family wanted a better life for him that they believed Mexico could not give him at that time.
He went to elementary, middle, high school, and college here. The United States of America is his home; he was raised here since he was 3 years old.
He deserves the world; we just want him back home to us here in Los Angeles, together once again as a family.
This fundraiser would be used to cover his legal fees and legal aid. We are all continuously working, but lawyer fees are extremely expensive, and any other fees that would be towards getting help to get him out.
Please help, anything would be appreciated. Sharing would help greatly as well. We also want his story to be able to get out there, to show that immigrants are not the evil that is painted about them. They are human beings, not aliens. They are the backbone of the country.
Thank you for reading, I really hope we can bring him back home soon.
