I'm looking to raise funds for some organisations that Razeta Laxmi Shakya currently works with. I came across these organisations (which are based in my home country of Nepal) after reaching out to Razeta, a football coach who works closely with them on a daily basis. The ultimate goal of these organisations is to empower Nepali women and girls through sport based activities. Razeta has explained that this is a cause that has personally touched her, seeing many boys and girls playing football barefoot and in their home clothes.

I will be heading back to Kathmandu this September with the aim of being able to provide as many items of football clothing (T-Shirts, shorts, socks and boots) and sports gear for their continued participation in football and other sports. We will also be sourcing all the products from within Kathmandu to give back to the local communities.

For me personally, having grown up participating in numerous sports I know just how much of a profound impact it's had on my life. I've learnt some essential life skills, discipline, hard work, communication and grown in confidence. We together would love nothing more than to be able to make a real difference for all those involved to open up opportunities.
