Nepal: A mission for good vision
Donation protected
Hi folks!
I am glad and so proud to announce my latest project: A mission for good vision! An amazing project with amazing people in one of the most fascinating but most in need of help countries in the world: Nepal.
Just imagine, how your life would be without good vision. Vision implies education, education implies future, future implies LIFE. We all deserve an opportunity for growth, an opportunity for knowledge, an opportunity for earning a living.
Four people, all passionate with the world of optics, will visit the Bright Horizon Children's Home School in Nepal (https://childrens-bright-horizon.de/) for checking the visual performance of all children's and if required for providing a pair of spectacles: Volker Meyer, Gabi Wutschke, Asu Rayamajhi and myself. Our mission will take place from November till December 2018.
Currently, 250 pupils are accommodated by the BHCH-school and so many children's are still waiting for their opportunity to get proper education. Beside the fixed costs, the costs for larger purchases (e.g. solar panels, workshop, new furniture, computers) or smaller purchases (e.g. books, kitchen equipment, trainings) are ongoing arising expenses.
Me and my team will bring in our knowledge, skills and motivation during our stay. If you want to bring in something in this great project, you can spring into action in different ways:
1. Share the story
2. Talk about it
3. Buy less useless stuff
4. Let us share some of our wealth: Donate anonymous useful money
5. Enjoy our blog https://www.meyeroptik.de/nepal/blog/
!!! Additional comment to 4.: Donated money will be 100% FORWAREDED TO THE SCHOOL, costs for the trip will be paid by ourselves. A contract with the money hand over will be published!!!
No credit card? Not a problem at all! Please contact me in case you want support us!
