NEPAL HIGHLINE DROP
Donation protected
So it’s come time for a highline mission in Nepal!
What does that mean?
Most equipment currently in Nepal has been outsourced, donated or second hand. And it’s time to expand on that! Why!?
Gear is limited here! And the community is newly established ! By contributing to the community we’re helping support them grow, learn & develop spots plus skills!
The contribution it’s self consists of 150m of webbing 100m Pink Tube, barely used. BC Green 50m both sewn. And heaps of good anchor materials, whoopies, rope, hardware & even a range finder!
With this extra gear it will allow lines into the 150m range, and this surely is just the beginning.
This is Dylan Bennett here representing NZ/AUS Slacklife, spent years also on the receiving end of outsourcing materials from Europe/US and now it’s time to give back.
My trip lined up with a bouldering/slack/highline mission into langtang NP. And conveniently have been purchasing a decent amount of gear. I’ve put together what I could fit into a checked in bag. And I’ve landed to start the mission.
The funds are to directly support the donation of the equipment and in hopes to continue to put Nepal forward to showcase its variety in landscapes and immense potential in mountain sports. The Nepalese culture & people are truly beautiful and I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to join if only briefly.
So feel free to share this if you can’t donate with funds and thank you to those who do. And I hope we can continue this trend in the future.
kind regards
Namaste
