Help Support Los Angeles Street Vendors Under Threat

My family has always supported street vendors. Whether it’s buying refreshing popsicles on the beach, purchasing beautiful flowers for loved ones at the light on a busy corner, buying fresh cut fruit on my lunch break, or getting delicious tacos at a food truck late into the night, I have always had great respect for these hard working individuals. They are such a blessing in our communities!

Every day in Los Angeles, street vendors are just trying to make an honest living to support their families. These vendors are the heart and soul of our neighborhoods. Many have lived in this country for decades, yet today they face the terrifying reality of being targeted, detained, and even kidnapped by masked agents.

We are in a frightening moment. People who have been here over 30 years are suddenly being taken. Local politicians are being denied access to detention centers. Families are being torn apart in silence.

This fundraiser is to support these vendors — directly and immediately.

The Goal:

To provide emergency funds to Los Angeles street vendors so they can go home, stay safe, and protect themselves and their families without being forced to risk their freedom just to survive.

How the Funds Will Be Used:

Given directly to vendors affected or at risk. We would like to help cover basic needs, emergency housing, or time off the streets.

All distributions will be posted transparently so donors can see exactly who was helped.

This is not just about money. It's about humanity. We all deserve to live in peace and be with our families. No one should have to fear being disappeared for selling fruit, tacos, or tamales on a sidewalk.
