Norterra Family Fundraiser

There was a break-in at a home in the Norterra area on July 18. A lady who was on some kind of drugs went through the doggy door and attacked the two daughters who were home alone. The two brave girls fought the intruder off with kitchen knives stabbing and wounding her before running to safety. The woman was apprehended by police and everyone is safe, although very understandably upset.

Neighbors are trying to help the family in any way we can. We are looking for a restoration service that might be willing to donate services or someone with connections at a furniture store. Insurance is not covering blood on the carpet or furniture. The house is a crime scene and we are trying to make it a home again.  We also want to help by offering  gift cards for food,  movies, etc. so that the family can spend some time together trying not to think about this. Let's rally together for a neighbor...anything helps!
