For years, we’ve dreamed of building our own secondary school—a place where our students are protected from corporal punishment and empowered to feel valued, supported, and free to become whoever they want to be. We imagined a campus filled with hope, where learning goes far beyond the limits of the traditional Tanzanian curriculum. A place where students can finally explore critical thinking, creativity, arts, drama, music, and sports—opportunities so often missing in their current schools.

Most importantly, we envisioned a school staffed by educators who are genuinely excited to welcome our students each day and committed to providing the safe, loving environment they deserve to learn, grow, and thrive.

For those who don’t know, we started the journey to turn this dream into a reality in February by buying the land that would become Uru Community Secondary school. While it has been a very long and hard year, thanks to your help and support, we are now in the final stages of construction and registration of this dream facility.

We are so close to being done but definitely still have some final touches to finish up and fund-- and we cannot do it without you!!
