I hope this message finds you well! 2024 has been an interesting year thus far, a lot of life changes and personal transformation. Like many of you I see on social media, I am also celebrating a major milestone birthday in October. I have decided to give back and will be donating my time, care and love for 10 days at an orphanage located in Arusha, Tanzania.

I would like to ask for your help in raising funds for Neema Village as a celebration of how precious life is. My goal is to raise USD$3,000 by October 27th (my birthday). I am starting before my departure to Africa and will be posting photos during my stay in September. Any amount helps, even if it's just $5.00!

Neema Village Tanzania, Inc., is a registered NGO in Tanzania and a 501(c)3 nonprofit registered in the US. They care for abandoned, orphaned and at risk babies. Hundreds of babies have been rescued and most of those have either been adopted through the Tanzania Social Welfare System or returned to an extended family member.

Realizing that many of the babies who came to Neema had lost their mothers in childbirth, the mission of Neema Village has been expanded to include a wide range of programs for women. In 2014 almost 10 acres were purchased to begin a more dynamic, far reaching scope of programs designed to help women better care for their babies, survive childbirth, find ways to supplement the family income, have better nutrition, lift widows from lives of neglect and abuse and impact the surrounding Maasai villages through water wells and medical care.
