NEEDHAM BROTHERS Climbing Snowdon for local Food Bank

Recently Bertie (age 9) & Monty (age 7) successfully climbed their first mountain - Mam Tor with their Dad Rob. Mam Tor is a 517 metre hill and the Needham brothers completed this in August 2023 in their wellies!!

For their next challenge Bertie & Monty have decided to climb the HIGHEST mountain in Wales and England. SNOWDON (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh)

There are six main routes that lead to the summit of Yr Wyddfa. These range from between 11km and 14.5km (round trip) and can take anywhere between 4 to 7 hours to complete depending on fitness level, experience and weather conditions.

Bertie and Monty have decided they would like to walk Snowdon to raise money for their local food bank - The Food Bank at The Link which is based at Smawthorne Community Church.

Bertie & Monty will be heading to Wales with their family on the weekend of 7th June and would appreciate any donation big or small.

Let’s help them raise as much money as possible to help families in need in our local community.

The boys will be documenting their walk on the day ‍♂️‍♂️they are so excited.
