Hello everyone!!

For those who don’t know me, my name is Grace Mutemwa. I am currently on a gap year, seeking opportunities to serve others and grow in my character so that I may become more like Christ.

I have a deep love for serving in church, especially through singing and leading praise and worship. I believe that serving and stewardship are things God calls us all to do (Hebrews 13:16, Galatians 5:13, 1 Peter 4:10, Colossians 3:23), so when I heard about the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Zambia, I didn’t hesitate to sign up!

During this trip, we will be supporting Yuka Adventist Mission Hospital by helping provide care to patients and assisting with renovation efforts. This opportunity is especially meaningful to me because I have Zambian heritage from the Western Province, where the hospital is located. Being able to give back to our people in a practical and impactful way is something that I hold very close to my heart.

In order take part in this mission, I need to raise £1,500 by Friday 8th June 2026. This will go towards covering flights, accommodation, and essential tools needed for the work we will be doing at Yuka. Any additional funds raised beyond my goal will go towards helping other volunteers reach their fundraising targets.
