Baby K came to live with us on May 5, 2014. She was only two weeks old and weighed just six pounds. We immediately fell in love with her. There have been many ups and downs in court throughout this year and half since she was placed in our home and we are hoping and praying we can adopt her soon.


However, we are not quite there yet. Recent developments have made it clear that we need to hire the services of a skilled attorney who can help us walk through the rest of this process and help us fight for K to stay in our home. Unfortnately, most attorneys are not free, and the one we feel is the best fit for our situation has a $5k retainer fee. It's possible the entire process will cost more, but for now, this is our immediate need. All donations will go directly towards our legal fees for the remainder of the process.
